COFLT-WAFLT 2024 Fall Conference

Bridging Cultures, Fostering Global Communicators

WAFLT is excited to announce the COFLT-WAFLT bi-state conference in Portland on October 10-12, 2024 at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel. The theme of this conference is “Building Bridges, Fostering Global Communicators.”

  • Pre-conference and post-conference workshops

The pre-conference workshop will take place on Thursday, October 10, 5pm-7pm. There will be two post-conference workshops available to choose from Saturday afternoon, October 12, 2pm-4pm with our keynotes.

  • Register by October 1 to Ensure Meals

We must give the hotel final meal counts on October 1. Any conference registrations received after October 1 will not include meals.

  • Hotel and Transportation

Please plan to stay at the conference hotel. We have arranged a special room rate for conference attendees. Use this hotel link as it is the only way to guarantee the conference rate. Please do not worry about the COFLT logo on the site. This link is for all conference attendees. 

Staying in the hotel helps WAFLT keep the conference rates lower. The conference hotel rate is available until September 23rd or until the conference block of rooms is filled.

Parking for conference attendees and overnight guests is free in the hotel lot. If the hotel runs out of spaces, there are other parking options nearby.

  • ASL Interpretation

If ASL interpretation is required, please mark it in the registration page. Conference organizers must know if this is a requirement before September 23rd.

  • Refunds for Cancellations

$20 processing fee will be applied for cancellation before October 1st. No refunds if cancellation is requested after October 1st. 

If you are unable to attend the conference, WAFLT will not be able to refund the meals.
